What Pip does with what you tell him

Pip only works if you tell him what you love. Here is exactly what he keeps, and what he will never do with it.

What Pip keeps

• Your username, and your password stored only as a scrambled hash — never as plain text.
• Your email, if you choose to give one. It is used to welcome you and to send the reminders you ask for. Nothing else.
• The things you tell Pip you love, and the things Pip finds for you, so he can learn you over time.
• The place you tell him, if you tell him one, so he can look for things near you.

What Pip never does

• He never sells what you tell him. Not to anyone.
• He never shows you ads, and never lets anyone pay to reach you. Things flow to you, never the other way around.
• He never fills your inbox. He only sends what you opted into, and you can turn it off anytime from your profile.
• He does not follow you around the rest of the internet.

Your say

You can turn off Pip's emails anytime from your profile. If you want Pip to forget you entirely — your account and everything tied to it — write to Pipfoundit@pip.live and we will remove it.

The honest part

Pip is small and new. We keep what is above on a secured server, we do not share it, and we will tell you here if any of this changes. What you teach Pip may be shown as part of Pip (see the Terms), but your email, your password, and your location are never made public.
